[07-04-2023] Male Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle in Lemon GroveA male pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Lemon Grove on Tuesday night, July 4, 2023.

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department responded to the accident reported on Massachusetts Avenue near Main Street shortly before 10:10 p.m.

The pedestrian was allegedly struck by a car while crossing a street outside a crosswalk. He died before he could be transported to the hospital. As for the vehicle’s driver, he was sent to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The authorities haven’t yet identified the people involved in the accident.

According to the investigation, alcohol and drugs were not involved in the incident.
