[07-11-2023] 63-Year-Old Pedestrian Injured After Being Struck by Vehicle in Rancho PenasquitosA 63-year-old pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle in Rancho Penasquitos, San Diego, on Tuesday morning, July 11, 2023.

According to the San Diego Police Department, the crash happened around 10:15 a.m. in the 13400 block of Rancho Penasquitos Boulevard.

A 2003 Acura driver was in the eastbound lane when the pedestrian was struck. Reports indicated that the victim was not in a crosswalk.

The victim sustained a broken left wrist and a fractured left leg which was treated in a local hospital.

Information about the driver and the victim’s condition remains unknown. Further details have yet to be released by the authorities.
