[07-18-2023] 26-Year-Old Man Killed After Motorcycle and Vehicle Collision in CoronaA 26-year-old man was killed after a motorcycle and vehicle collision in Corona early Tuesday morning, July 18, 2023.

According to the Corona Fire Department, the fatal collision happened around 1:00 a.m. along the westbound 91 Freeway, east of Main Street.

A motorcyclist named Riley M. was traveling on the freeway when he struck the back of a vehicle towing a trailer. The victim got thrown off his vehicle and was later declared dead at the scene.

Reports indicate that the other vehicle was unable to move before the motorcyclist rear-ended it, but it is still unclear why he did not see it in time to swerve or halt.

The two occupants of the other vehicle did not require medical attention. The authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the fatal collision.
