[07-19-2022] Monterey County , CA - 27 year old Man Dead after Fatal Two Vehicle and Pedestrian Crash in SalinasAccording to Salinas Police, a 27-year-old victim died on the scene after being struck by a minivan and a sedan on Tuesday, July 19, 2022.

According to the authorities, the victim was crossing East Laurel Drive northbound between Bolero Avenue and Natividad Road when he was hit by a minivan driving west in the number two lane.

According to the police, a second vehicle, a dark-colored sedan, struck the victim but fled.

The minivan’s 60-year-old driver remained on the scene and cooperated with officers.The minivan driver was not intoxicated at the crash.

The Salinas Police Department is still investigating the incident.
