[08-22-2023] Riverside County, CA – 6-Year-Old Male Pedestrian Killed Following Vehicle Collision in Corona

A 6-year-old boy was killed after a vehicle collision in Corona on Tuesday morning, August 22, 2023.

According to the Corona Police Department, the incident occurred on Sallie Jeffreys Way, just north of Golden Harvest Drive, around 7:55 a.m.

Duner L. was hit by a motorist on the street of a residential area that morning. The vehicle’s driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. However, it is unclear what caused the collision pending an investigation.

The young victim was transported to Corona Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries less than an hour later.
