[08-27-2023] Redwood City Two-Vehicle Crash Killed One Person and Injured Two PeopleOne person was killed, and two others were injured after a collision involving two vehicles in Redwood City on Sunday morning, August 27, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened on the Southbound 280 and Eastbound 92 around 3:00 a.m.

Authorities stated that immediately after hitting the concrete overpass barrier, the black Volkswagen swerved toward the middle lane, then got stuck and struck by a white Honda CRV.

In the black Volkswagen, a person died on the scene. There are two minor injuries in the white Honda. The identities of the people involved have not yet been revealed.

No further details were released regarding the crash, and it is unknown whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision.

An investigation into this case is still ongoing.
