[10-12-2022] One Killed, Another Injured in Deadly Pedestrian Collision in SaratogaAccording to the authorities, a pedestrian was killed and another injured after being struck by a vehicle in Saratoga Tuesday, October 12, 2022.

According to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s deputies, the fatal pedestrian crash transpired around 10:30 a.m. in the 15000 block of Montalvo Road.

When the deputies arrived, they discovered two pedestrians who had been hit by a vehicle while collecting their belongings from parked cars.

The pedestrians had been struck by a third vehicle attempting to park.

One female pedestrian passed away at the scene from her injuries, and the other pedestrian was transported to the hospital; information regarding their current conditions was not available.

The circumstances leading up to the collision, as well as the cause of it, are being investigated by the authorities. We wait until her next of kin has been notified before releasing the victim’s name.

The driver involved in the incident was helping the authorities with their investigation.
