[10-16-2023] San Joaquin County, CA – 47-Year-Old Female Pedestrian Killed Following Vehicle Collision in Stockton

A 47-year-old female pedestrian was killed after getting hit by a vehicle in Stockton on Monday morning, October 16, 2023.

According to the Stockton Police Department, the incident occurred around 6:00 a.m. on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard near Grant Street.

Authorities said the woman was crossing the boulevard when she was struck by an unspecified vehicle. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.

The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital, where she later died. It is unclear if the driver was injured in the collision.
