[10-19-2022] Two People Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision in BakersfieldAccording to the authorities, a two-vehicle collision left two people injured and transported to a local hospital because of injuries late Wednesday night in Bakersfield, October 19, 2022.

As per authorities, the crash occurred around 11:43 p.m. in the area of South Union Avenue and Houghton Road in Bakersfield.

Two injured victims were located by responding firefighters and evaluated by medical personnel at the scene before being taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.

People were seen standing around both vehicles, but it was unclear whether or not all of these people were occupants of the vehicles involved in the collision.

The California Highway Patrol was on the scene investigating the car accident.

There was no other information that could be obtained at this time.
