[11-26-2023] San Joaquin County, CA – Bicyclist Killed Following Vehicle Collision on Highway 4 in Stockton

A bicyclist was killed following a vehicle collision in Stockton early Sunday evening, November 26, 2023.

The California Highway Patrol reported that a collision occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m. on the eastbound lane of Highway 4 near Wilson Way.

The unidentified cyclist was on the #3 lane when a Nissan struck them. It is unknown if the victim died at the scene or in a hospital, but the driver remained right after the collision.

Additional reports indicate that the victim was not wearing any reflective gear or had any lights. There were no alcohol or drugs suspected to be involved.

The authorities have not released further information about the cause of the fatal collision.
