[12-08-2022] One Injured After Two-Vehicle Collision in Elk River CourtA 40-year-old female was reportedly injured following a two-vehicle collision in Eureka on Thursday morning, December 8, 2022.

According to authorities, the crash occurred around 11:00 a.m. in the 7600 block of Elk River Court.

Responders arrived at the scene and found a gray Nissan Altima and a white Kia K-5 with California-exempt plates referred to as a mail truck.

The female victim was trapped, and unable to exit the vehicle.

After she escaped from the car, an ambulance rushed her to the hospital as she complained of neck and back pain.

Authorities are still investigating the collision.
