[12-12-2021] Los Angeles County, CA – CHP Motorcycle Officer Injured After a Traffic Crash in Inglewood

A California Highway Patrol motorcycle officer was hurt following a traffic crash in Inglewood on Sunday evening, December 12, 2021.

A CHP officer was traveling southbound on his motorcycle when he was suddenly struck by a passing vehicle for unclear reasons.

The driver that struck the CHP officer remained at the scene and willingly cooperated with authorities. He was uninjured in the crash.

The CHP officer sustained minor to moderate injuries in the crash. He was immediately taken to an area hospital for treatment. It’s unclear whether intoxication played a role in the collision. Local authorities are further investigating the case.
