[12-13-2022] Female Driver Fatally Struck After Traffic Collision in San JoseA female driver was fatally struck after a two-vehicle collision in San Jose on Tuesday morning, December 13, 2022.

Authorities reported that the collision occurred around 6:15 a.m. at Pomona and Alma avenues.

Reports state that a male 2019 Ford pickup driver collided with the woman driving a 1995 Honda sedan.

Paramedics brought the victim to the hospital with serious injuries, where she was pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, the pickup truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

The victim’s identity has not been released pending notification of her next of kin.

Neither of the drivers appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
