[12-14-2023] Ventura County, CA – 60-Year-Old Man Killed Following Two-Vehicle Collision Along Highway 126 in Santa Paula

A 60-year-old man named John S. was killed following a two-vehicle collision in Santa Paula early Thursday morning, December 14, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal collision happened around 5:34 a.m. along Highway 126 west of Hobson Road.

A black Jeep was heading eastbound when a silver Toyota Prius left a private driveway and got rear-ended by the Jeep.

The 60-year-old was extricated from the Jeep and taken to Ventura County Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The Prius driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Further details on the fatal collision have yet to be released by the authorities.
