[10-05-2020] Contra Costa, CA – Hit-and-Run Accident in San Pablo Kills One Pedestrian

An unidentified female pedestrian was killed after getting struck by a hit-and-run driver in San Pablo on early Monday morning, October 5.

According to the initial reports from local authorities, the accident occurred at approximately 5:16 a.m. t on San Pablo Avenue at 23rd Street.

The woman was found lying on the highway by emergency personnel. The motorist that struck the woman fled the scene. The woman was later pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of her injuries. The victim was identified as an 88-year-old San Pablo resident.
