A 25-year-old man from Anza identified as Juan Sanchez was killed in a fatal motorcycle crash in Riverside on Sunday evening, August 23.
According to the initial reports from local authorities, the fatal accident transpired at around 9:37 p.m. on the northbound side of the freeway, south of Columbia Avenue. The man was reportedly riding his motorcycle on Interstate 215 in Riverside when he crashed for unexplained reasons.
It is unknown whether another vehicle was involved in the crash or not. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene. Local authorities are trying to determine whether drugs, alcohol or speeding played a role in the fatal crash.
