[10-10-2020] Sacramento County, CA – Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident in Arden-Arcade Kills One

An unidentified pedestrian was killed after getting struck by a hit-and-run driver in Arden-Arcade on Saturday night, October 10.

According to the local authorities’ initial reports, the fatal accident took place on Rio Linda Boulevard near Las Palmas Avenue at approximately 9:30 p.m. 

The man was hit by a passing vehicle on the roadway for unknown reasons. It is unclear whether the victim was walking on a marked crosswalk or not at the time of the accident. The driver did not stop to render aid and fled the scene.

First responders found the victim unconscious on the roadway. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
