[12-27-2020] San Bernardino County, CA – One Person Killed After a Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Apple Valley

One unidentified person was killed after a deadly pedestrian crash in Apple Valley on Sunday evening, December 27.

According to the local authorities’ initial reports, the crash transpired at around 6:45 p.m. on westbound Highway 18 near Rimrock Road.

A white 2004 Toyota Sienna struck the pedestrian for unclear reasons. A few moments later, another unspecified vehicle struck the pedestrian.

The victim sustained fatal injuries as a result of the accident. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

Westbound Highway 18 was closed down to give way for the clearance and examination by authorities.

The factors that caused that accident to occur has not been established.
