[09-23-2020] Shasta County, CA – Injuries Reported After a Car Crash in Palo Cedro

At least one person was injured after a two-vehicle traffic collision in the Palo Cedro area on Wednesday morning, September 23.

According to the California Highway Patrol’s initial reports, the crash happened at around 9:58 a.m. at State Route Highway 44 and Silver Bridge Road. A red Toyota pickup truck and a white Ford F-450 pickup collided head-on for unknown reasons on the roadway.

Due to the severity of the impact, the red pickup had major front-end damage while the white truck had both of its tires flattened due to the accident. The driver of the white Ford pickup was rushed to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries. Another unidentified victim also sustained injuries but was treated at the scene by medical personnel.
