One person was killed following a deadly multi-vehicle traffic collision near Easton on Friday morning, January 21, 2022.

A 17-year-old was driving a Ford F-150 pickup southbound on the highway with a visibility of around 150 feet. As the pickup reached Floral, the driver of an eastbound Chevrolet van swerved into the pickup’s path, broadsiding the van.

A 25-year-old man in the van was killed following the mishap. Meanwhile, four others sustained varying degrees of injury.

Information about the accident is limited at the moment. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.

An active investigation of the case is currently underway.
