Bus Accident Statistics

Whether publicly or privately owned, buses must adhere to specific safety regulations. They are public transportation or vehicles that transport passengers for a fee.

Common carriers are governed by several state and federal legislation. These rules include driver employment and training requirements, vehicle upkeep, and service quality. Any violation of these laws that results in the injury of a passenger, bystander, Bicycle Accidents, or pedestrian is considered negligence.

In the United States in 2019, there were 3,087 fatal bus and large truck crashes. According to the same report, 60,818 individuals were hurt in bus crashes, and 122,331 automobiles were damaged. A party bus was engaged in this instance.

Because they are typically owned and run by companies whose primary business is providing limo services, party buses are frequently the most dangerous commercial motor vehicles.

A party bus is essentially a mobile nightclub with no security or processes to ensure that consumers consume alcohol safely.

People falling off the bus is the most common cause of party bus accidents. In reality, ten of the 22 accidents listed above included people falling off the bus. In most cases, the victim struck or fell on the exit lever, which opened the door, which they subsequently exited.
