[01-29-2022] Sacramento County, CA – Three People Injured After a Traffic Collision Involving an Animal Control Vehicle near Lexington Street

Three people were hospitalized after a traffic collision near Lexington Street involving an animal control vehicle on Saturday afternoon, January 29, 2022.

According to the initial reports from the Sacramento Police Department, the accident happened at around 4:50 p.m. near Lexington Street and El Camino Avenue.

An animal control vehicle and another unspecified vehicle collided on the roadway under unclear circumstances.

Three people inside the second vehicle were rushed to an area hospital for treatment. Their condition and their identities have not been disclosed.

The driver of the anima control vehicle was also injured in the mishap but only sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

An active investigation of the crash is currently underway.
