Three people were hospitalized after a traffic collision near Lexington Street involving an animal control vehicle on Saturday afternoon, January 29, 2022.

An animal control vehicle and another unspecified vehicle collided on the roadway under unclear circumstances.

Three people inside the second vehicle were rushed to an area hospital for treatment. Their condition and their identities have not been disclosed.

The driver of the anima control vehicle was also injured in the mishap but only sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

An active investigation of the crash is currently underway.
