According to the Ventura County Fire and Sheriff’s Department, the fatal accident happened at around 1:15 p.m. on the 100 block of Howard Road near a water treatment facility.

Authorities stated that two adult passengers in a plane crash suffered moderate injuries following the accident. The injured passengers were rushed to the local hospital by ambulance to get immediate treatment.

Officials reported that the experimental aircraft that crashed at the scene was similar to Rutan Long EZ.
