A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a big rig in Riverside early Thursday morning, February 1, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal incident occurred at about 12:15 a.m. on the Riverside 91 Freeway.

The CHP stated they were sent to the westbound side of the freeway at La Sierra Avenue. There, they saw the victim suffering from fatal injuries.
