[02-03-2024] Los Angeles County, CA – At Least One Person Hospitalized After Multi-Vehicle Wrong-Way Collision in Sherman Oaks

At least one person was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle wrong-way collision in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, on Saturday morning, February 3, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 6:25 a.m. on the Ventura (101) Freeway at Woodman Avenue.

The CHP stated that the incident was triggered by a white vehicle going the wrong way on the freeway’s westbound lanes. Four vehicles were reportedly involved in the collision; a white pickup truck, two SUVs, and a black Dodge Charger.

Responding officials rushed at least one person to the hospital for further medical care. Authorities have yet to confirm the total number of injuries.

Investigations are still underway.
