[02-05-2023] San Mateo County, CA – Three, Including Baby, Injured in Vehicle Rollover near Redwood City

Three people, including a baby, were injured and hospitalized following a vehicle rollover on Interstate 280 near Redwood City on Sunday afternoon, February 05, 2023.

According to the San Mateo County Fire Department, the single-vehicle crash occurred at about 1:00 p.m. along the southbound lane of Interstate 280.

Three people, including a baby, were trapped in the wreckage. Responding firefighters were able to extricate and sent them to a nearby trauma center within half an hour.

All three injured victims reportedly sustained moderate injuries. No further details on their identities and current state were released.

The authorities are still investigating the circumstances that led to the vehicle rolling over, including whether speeding, alcohol, or drugs played a role.
