[02-12-2023] Female Pedestrian Injured in Hit & Run Crash on El Cajon BlvdA 25-year-old female pedestrian sustained injuries following a hit-and-run crash in San Diego on Sunday evening, February 12, 2023.

According to the San Diego Police Department, the crash occurred at about 6:30 p.m. near 2800 El Cajon Boulevard in the North Park neighborhood.

The pedestrian was reportedly crossing north to south in an area with signs that said no pedestrian crossing when a car heading west on El Cajon struck her. The driver then sped away from the scene.

Although her injuries were considered not life-threatening, two of the woman’s ribs were broken, and she also had a cut on her head. No further details on her current state were released.

The car involved was probably dark-colored. No other information was immediately available as the crash was being investigated as a felony hit and run.
