[02-17-2024] Los Angeles County, CA – Three People Hospitalized Following Single-Vehicle Rollover Crash in Sherman Oaks

Three people were hospitalized following a single-vehicle rollover crash in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, on early Saturday morning, February 17, 2024.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the collision occurred around 4:00 a.m. in the 3100 block of Sepulveda Boulevard.

Authorities stated that a Mercedes Benz G-Wagon had rolled over and taken out a power pole. All three occupants were transported to the nearest hospital with unknown injuries.

An uninvolved man sitting in a Porsche parked on the shoulder of the roadway was trapped when power lines from the fallen pole landed on his vehicle.

Police said that the man inside the Porsche was not injured and was able to exit his vehicle after the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power crews de-energized the lines.

Witnesses stated that they heard the vehicle approaching at a high rate of speed before crashing into the pole.

No further information was released. The investigation is ongoing.
