One unidentified woman was injured in a boat accident after a stolen yacht crashed into several other boats in Newport Beach on Thursday morning, March 10, 2022.

The man was believed to be running away from the police when he was caught trying to steal a Rolls Royce along Pacific Coast Highway.

Local authorities believed the keys were already in the ignition since the boat was scheduled for maintenance on the same day, making it possible for the man to take control of the yacht.

The man was eventually pinned after crashing the yacht into Lido Island Bridge.

The 38-year-old felon was charged with a hit-and-run felony, among others, and is being held on a $3,000,000 bail.
