[03-19-2022] Los Angeles County, CA - One Person Killed Following a Deadly Electric Scooter Crash on Imperial HighwayA 40-year-old man was killed after a deadly motorized scooter accident near Grandee Avenue on Saturday night, March 19, 2022.

The fatal accident happened at approximately 10:50 p.m. on Imperial Highway near Grande Avenue.

The victim was riding a motorized scooter when he was suddenly struck by a 19-year-old driver that turned left onto Grandee Avenue.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. The scooter rider was rushed to an area hospital but was, unfortunately, later pronounced dead.

It’s unclear whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. Local authorities are further investigating the case.
