According to the California Highway Patrol, two drivers were hospitalized, one with serious injuries, after a head-on collision outside of Calistoga on Wednesday morning, March 23, 2022.

[03-23-2022] Napa County, CA - Two-Vehicle Crash Near Calistoga Injures Two PeopleAccording to the CHP’s Napa County bureau, the two-vehicle collision happened at 6:55 a.m. on the Silverado Trail near Clover Flat Road.

According to the highway patrol, one driver, 22-year-old Javier T. of Sonoma, suffered major injuries and was taken to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center by American Medical Response ambulance.

Another AMR ambulance took the other driver, 59-year-old Erik K. of Napa, to the Queen with moderate injuries.

According to CHP, Torres was driving south on Silverado Trail in a 2006 Toyota Corolla when his vehicle crossed the center line and collided with Kiser, who was driving north in a 2018 Jeep Cherokee SUV.

Kiser’s Jeep rolled over on the east shoulder of Silverado Trail as a result of the collision.

Torres was extricated from his car by firefighters before being taken to the hospital, according to CHP.
