[03-28-2022] Kern County, CA – One Person Killed in Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash on Rosedale Highway

According to the California Highway Patrol, at least one person died in a crash on Rosedale Highway in West Bakersfield on Monday evening, March 28, 2022.

The crash occurred around 6:44 p.m. on Rosedale Highway and Renfro Road.

The CHP received reports between a white Ford pickup truck and a black BMW 3 Series.

Officers arrived on the scene and closed the eastbound lanes of Rosedale Highway for approximately 2 hours.

The roads were reopened around 8:40 p.m.

The Kern County Coroner’s Office will disclose the victim’s identity at a later date.

There are no other details available. The crash remains under investigation.
