[05-20-2022] Orange County, CA - One Man Killed, Another Critically Injured in Fatal DUI Crash on North Tustin Street and Taft AvenueA man driving a Porsche was killed when another driver ran a red light and t-boned him in Orange County on Friday night, May 20, 2022.

A fatal collision occurred shortly before 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of North Tustin Street and Taft Avenue.

When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered that a black 2003 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 was turning left onto southbound Tustin from Taft when a silver Kia Soul driver ran a red light and t-boned the Porsche.

The driver of the Porsche, who was only identified as a male adult, died as a result of his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the Kia driver was airlifted to a local hospital in critical condition.

The circumstances surrounding the crash are still being investigated, but police believe the Kia driver was under the influence of drugs.
