[05-31-2022] Sacramento County, CA - One Person Dead After a Fatal Traffic Collision in OrangevaleOne unidentified person was killed after a deadly two-vehicle collision in Orangevale on Tuesday night, May 31, 2022.

The fatal collision transpired at approximately 9:24 p.m. on Hazel Avenue between Elm and Central avenues in Orangevale.

A Toyota van and another vehicle collided on the roadway for unclear reasons. A power pole owned by hte Sacramento Municipal Utility District was struck by one of the vehicles which caused the pole to go down.

Emergency personnel later arrived at the scene and found one of the involved parties unresponsive. One person was pronounced dead at the scene.

At least one other person was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Information about the crash is limited at the moment.

Local authorities are currently conducting an investigation on the case. Local authorities are actively investigating the case.
