[06-02-2023] 16-Year-Old Male Pedestrian Killed After Train Collision in Baldwin ParkA Metrolink train in Baldwin Park struck and killed Diego G., a 16-year-old pedestrian, on Friday afternoon, June 2, 2023.

According to the Baldwin Park Police Department and Los Angeles County Fire Department, the incident happened near the intersection of Downing Avenue and Pacific Avenue at around 4:40 p.m.

Before the authorities found the man on the track with serious injuries, witnesses and 911 callers said they saw a man walking on the tracks.

Gonzales did not survive his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner officers.
