[06-21-2022] Nevada County, CA - 46-Year-Old Man Injured in Car Crash at Ridge RoadAccording to the California Highway Patrol, one man suffered major injuries in a car accident at Ridge Road late Tuesday night, June 21, 2022.

The crash occurred before 11:00 p.m. on Rough and Ready Highway.

According to CHP, Jeanette Polino drove her 2008 Nissan Titan off the road, into a tree, and overturned it.

According to CHP, Polino broke his pelvis, femur, and neck while not wearing a seatbelt.

She was airlifted to Sutter Roseville Medical Center to receive medical attention for her wounds.

Gregory G., a 46-year-old passenger from Grass Valley, was slightly injured in the collision. He was reportedly wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.

Police say alcohol is thought to be a suspected factor in the collision.

The crash remains under investigation.
