[06-26-2023] Chemical Investigation After One Person Hospitalized In Sherman OaksA chemical investigation is underway after one person was hospitalized in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, on Monday morning, June 26, 2023.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the incident was reported around 9:15 a.m. at the Sherman Oaks Galleria.

Six people suffered minor medical complaints such as scratchy throat and watery eyes. One person was transported to a local hospital.

Initial tests didn’t display any significant hazard. Authorities are currently identifying an irritant.
