[07-07-2022] Fresno County, CA – One Person Killed in Fiery Two-Vehicle Collision Involving Truck on Highway 99

According to the authorities, one person is dead following a fiery two-vehicle crash along Highway 99 Thursday morning, July 7, 2022.

The crash occurred about 7:30 p.m. at Manning Avenue along Highway 99.

After a semi-truck collided with at least one other vehicle, traffic from Fowler to Selma is at a standstill.

The collision has resulted in the closure of Highway 99 in Selma’s northbound direction at Floral Avenue.

The scene of the accident and smoke coming out of the big rig are captured on camera by a nearby Caltrans camera.

The cause of the collision is unknown, but the victim was declared dead at the scene.

Investigations into the crash are still ongoing.
