The Baldwin Park Police Department and Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the accident at Baldwin Park Boulevard and Sterling Way intersection around 4:30 p.m.

It was unclear what caused the crash, but the victim was transported to Los Angeles General Medical Center by ambulance. It was later reported that his condition became stable.

There were no injuries to the driver of the vehicle. Other information regarding the identity of those involved is not available.

The investigation into the crash continues.
