[08-21-2022] San Bernardino County, CA - Cyclist Fatally Struck and Killed by DUI Driver in Rancho CucamongaAccording to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies, a suspected DUI driver ran over and killed a bicyclist in front of his son in Rancho Cucamonga early Saturday morning, August 21, 2022.

According to the San Bernardino County Deputies, the crash occurred just before 2:00 a.m. to the intersection of Haven Avenue and Arrow Route.

When the deputies got there, they found that a 49-year-old man from Rancho Cucamonga had been hit and died from his injuries.

Deputies say that the man was riding with his son, who was underage, and a group of 10 other cyclists when a car hit him from behind.

Deputies say that Gerald W., who was driving that car, was found to be driving while drunk.
