[08-27-2023] Orange County, CA – Unidentified Male Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck by Vehicle in Newport Beach

An unidentified adult male pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Newport Beach on Sunday morning, August 27, 2023.

According to the Newport Police Department, the crash was reported at around 1:16 a.m. in the area of Pacific Coast Highway and 60th Street.

Authorities stated that officers were initially dispatched to the location after receiving reports of a collision between a Ford Fusion and a male pedestrian.

Officials said the victim was declared dead at the scene, and the driver of the Ford Fusion stayed and cooperated with law enforcement.
