[09-15-2022] Contra Costa County, CA – Big Rig Crash in San Ramon Caused Heavy Traffic

According to the San Ramon Police Department, a traffic collision between two big rigs caused significant traffic congestion in San Ramon on Thursday, September 15.

The crash occurred around 6:00 p.m. on Crow Canyon Road, east of Interstate 680.

A San Ramon police spokesperson advised motorists to avoid the area due to severe congestion.

The road was eventually reopened at around 6:30 p.m.

The identities of the people involved have yet to be disclosed.

The details leading up to the crash remain under investigation.
