[09-27-2022] Contra Costa County, CA – One Passenger Injured in Bus Crash on Pittsburg-Antioch Highway

According to the Pittsburg Police Department, a passenger was injured in a two-vehicle collision involving a car and a Tri Delta Transit bus in Pittsburg on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.

The crash occurred on Tuesday morning on the Pittsburg-Antioch Highway.

The bus and the car were attempting to avoid some debris on the Pittsburg-Antioch Highway when the collision occurred.

According to the authorities, someone illegally dumped a sizable box of construction supplies on the highway, creating a hazard for motorists.

The bus passenger’s injuries were treated at the hospital after being transported there.

Police did not disclose the passenger’s condition.
