[11-05-2023] San Joaquin County, CA – 26-Year-Old Man Amputated After Being Struck by Vehicle During Sideshow in Stockton

A 26-year-old man named Sean B. was amputated after being struck by a vehicle during a sideshow in Stockton on Sunday, November 5, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred near Eighth Street and B Street.

The pedestrian was running across the street with his friend when one of the vehicles from a nearby sideshow lost control and bumped both victims.

The left foot of the 26-year-old was caught during the collision, and other bystanders immediately aided him. He was transported to the hospital, where he got his foot amputated later on.

There were no other reports of visible injuries, and the suspect driver is likely to be charged with felony hit-and-run.
