[11-11-2022] Two People Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision in EurekaThe Eureka Police Department reported that two people were injured following a two-vehicle collision in Eureka on Friday morning, November 11, 2022.

According to the local authorities, police and medical responders were dispatched to the crash that occurred at 10:00 a.m. near Kool Beanz.

The collision involved a maroon Ford explorer with a pickup truck bed, towing a trailer, and an SUV-style vehicle. The responders found the two cars on the sidewalk.

Eureka Police Officer T. Moore confirmed that two children were inside one of the vehicles. Fortunately, neither was injured.

The EMT and City Ambulance attended to two patients, including one woman holding a baby. It is unclear whether the baby was injured as well.

The traffic between the older bay Alder Bay at Sunny Lane and the Shell station was impeded due to the collision.

The authorities conducted further investigation into what caused the crash, including whether alcohol or drug played a role.
