[11-12-2021] Sonoma County, CA – One Person Killed, Another Injured After a DUI Crash in Santa Rosa

An unidentified 51-year-old man was killed while another person was injured after a suspected DUI crash in Santa Rosa on Friday night, November 12, 2021.

The fatal crash transpired at approximately 8:44 p.m. in Corporate Center Parkway and Challenger Way in Santa Rosa.

A red Jeep was reportedly entered Corporate Center Parkway from a nearby convenience store and was driving southbound in the northbound lanes. The Jeep then collided head-on with an oncoming northbound Ford SUV.

The driver of the Jeep was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the female Ford driver sustained serious injuries and was rushed to an area hospital for treatment. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.

Information about the accident is limited at the moment. Intoxication was considered a factor in the crash.

The case is currently under further investigation.
