Multi-Vehicle Collision Statistics

Car accidents often have long-term and, in some circumstances, fatal repercussions. To avoid this, all drivers should drive responsibly.

Car accidents are unfortunately not uncommon in the United States. In 2018, there were roughly 33,654 fatal motor vehicle accidents. In that year, 36,560 persons were killed in automobile accidents.

Multi-vehicle collisions are only one sort of automotive accident. When three or more cars collide, this type of accident occurs. They are typically triggered by a “chain-reaction” crash, in which one vehicle crashes into another, potentially causing it to collide with other cars on the road.

According to the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles, multi-vehicle crashes accounted for around 7% of all crashes and more than 25% of all fatalities.

Reckless driving, excessive speeding, drunk drivers, and inattentive drivers are common causes of car accidents.

Car Accident Lawyers for Victims in Los Angeles County

Some accident victims do not seek legal assistance because they are concerned about the cost. If you do not hire a lawyer, you may jeopardize your claim. You might say something to the insurance company that leads them to believe you caused the accident.

When speaking with a personal injury attorney, you do not have to be concerned about your legal fees right away. Unlike criminal defense or divorce attorneys, who are paid hourly, most personal injury attorneys practice on a contingency basis.

A reliable personal injury attorney will compile evidence that proves that the at-fault party’s negligent actions caused your medical expenses, serious (long-term or permanent) injuries, and pain and suffering. Don’t wait to consider filing a claim. It’s in your best interest to get started right away.
