[11-29-2022] 47-Year-Old Female Driver Killed After Crashing with Semi-Truck in HanfordAuthorities said a woman was killed in a vehicle and semi-truck collision in Hanford, Kings County on Tuesday morning, November 29, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 2:15 a.m. at Kent Avenue and Highway 43 intersection.

The 47-year-old woman reportedly swerved into the path of a semi-truck approaching the crossroads, careening off the road after it was struck by it.

The victim was taken to a hospital in Visalia and subsequently passed away from her wounds.

No other details on the truck driver have been released to the public as the investigation continued.

Alcohol or drugs are not thought to have had a role in the crash.
