[12-11-2021] Los Angeles County, CA – USC Student Killed After a Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Exposition Park

A 21-year-old University of Southern California student identified as Arian R. was killed following a deadly pedestrian crash in the Exposition Park neighborhood on Saturday afternoon, December 11, 2021.

The fatal accident occurred at the intersection of West Jefferson Boulevard and South Harvard Boulevard at around 4:30 p.m.

Two vehicles were street racing when one hit a student crossing inside a marked crosswalk.

Unfortunately, the student was killed in the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver that hit the student remained at the scene and willingly cooperated with authorities.

Local authorities eventually arrested the two drivers. The accident is currently under further investigation.
