[12-11-2021] Los Angeles County, CA – Bicycle Accident in the Santa Monica Mountains Seriously Injures One Person

A 23-year-old man was seriously injured after a bicycle crash from a Los Angeles-area trail on Saturday morning, December 11, 2021.

The accident occurred in the Santa Monica Mountains in the Los Angeles-area trail at approximately 11:30 a.m.

The bicyclist fell off the trail for unclear reasons. The bicyclist then sustained serious injuries in the crash.

The bicyclist suffered from serious head, arm, and shoulder injuries due to the severity of the fall. The bicyclist had to be airlifted by a Los Angeles Fire Department helicopter to an area hospital.
